What is an NDA agreement?

An NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is a legal contract between parties in which they agree to keep certain information confidential and not disclose it to others, typically for a specified period of time. It is designed to protect sensitive or proprietary information from being shared without authorization. The difference between an NDA and an MNDA (Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement) lies in the reciprocal nature of the latter. While an NDA is typically one-sided, with only one party disclosing confidential information, an MNDA is a two-way agreement where both parties agree to keep each other's information confidential. Contractable can be used as an NDA generator.
